The French artist's "Freedom for King Kong" released their self-titled debut album and then later released the eclectic "Citoyens du Monde" in 1997. Their music is strongly influenced by reggae and ragga. The follow up to "Citoyens du Monde", "Primate Diplomate", featured more experimentation into rock and rap than their previous albums. The band is currently on hiatus and have released a DVD entitled "10 Ans de Goril' Music".
